Toshida MMA was founded in 1998 by Head Instructor David Lea. The goal of Toshido MMA has always been to teach the most current and effective martial arts techniques available. Since 1998, Toshido MMA has become one of the most reputable MMA clubs in the country, producing numerous UFC veterans, like Rory MacDonald, Sarah Moras, Matt Dwyer, and Shane Campbell, who have competed around the world and have been showcased on Fox Sports, NBC Sports, Spike TV, SLICE, and The Fight Network, to name just a few.
Toshido MMA has taken the battle tested techniques used in professional fighting and offers numerous programs to the general public to increase fitness, confidence, and world class self-defense. Over the years, thousands of people have benefited from training at Toshido MMA including Children, Women, RCMP, Security Personnel, Military, NHL Stars, Professional Fighters, Doctors, Lawyers, and everyone in between.
Toshido MMA offer a state of the art 6000 Sq/ft facility containing everything you will need for world class training including grappling mats, boxing ring, octagon cage, and assortment of heavy bags.
